Silvia Esparza
Bio
Silvia has been a community birth midwife since 2015. She started a home birth practice in 2017 and opened Birth Haven, the only birth center in Amarillo, in 2018. She is married with four children. She had midwifery care with her first two deliveries while in the military.
Silvia believes birth is a natural process, and women have an inner wisdom that allows them to give birth to their babies safely. Her passion is to empower women by educating them about their options so they can make an informed decision that is best for their families.
Silvia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M in 2007 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2015. She became the first full-scope practicing CNM to return to Amarillo.
